Balaton wind sculpture

In Fonyód, on the Szaplonczay promenade, on the edge of the mountain, stands the statue of Mihály Pál, erected in 1987.
A pleasant resting place has been created next to the statue, from where the view of Lake Balaton and the Balaton highlands is stunning. Badacsony and the other witness mountains are visible in the distance. A sign at the rest stop helps you find your way around the mountains on the other side.
