Carriage Museum
The stable block next to Festetics Castle is home to one of Europe's most important collections of carriages and sleighs.
The exhibition of more than 60 vehicles - carriages, sledges, tanks, sandpipers and automobiles - is open all year round and is perfect for families.
You can learn about the Castle's past life on horseback through period photographs. The exhibition, based on original photographs, gives an insight into the Castle's past equestrian life. It shows how horses and carriages played an important role in the life of the time. In a separate room, you will see closely related tack and tools from different periods, as well as riding equipment: saddles, bridles, riding pole
